The Advisory Board Members and Technical team from different countries have conducted a remarkable visit today on 29 September 2023.
Dr. Ararso Geremew, chairman of the Board of Executive for Sidama IPDC warmly welcomed the delegates. Besides, Mr Hailu Yetera, Deputy CEO for Sidama IPDC presented the current progress and the investment opportunities of the park for the guests.
Furthermore, the delegates visited operational factories in the park and appreciated the government’s effort to attain overall objectives of IAIP.
It is well noted that the African Development Bank is supporting Agro Industry Parks Development in Ethiopia. The Yirgalem Integrated Agro Industry Park https://iaip.gov.et/yirgalem-iaip-2/, is one of the Agro Commodity Growth Corridor, which has been supporting by AfDB projects on the area of Technical Capacity Building, funding support for the project Coordination, infrastructure development (wastewater treatment plant and potable water supply) for the last 4 years.
