By Grace Trading (BGT) PLC, Signed additional new project agreement with the SIPDC on March 10/2023.

This PLC is planned to process the organic compost from the avocado waste, in addition to producing avocado oil. Previously the company was rented 1500square Metre of ready made shed from SIPDC to produce organic avocado and it is on the truck to start the operations.
Currently the company is on process for establishing an Organic compost manufacturing hub in YIAIP with total investment of birr 500 Million.
The primary aim of the project is recycling the avocado waste to enhance the soil fertility.
The main beneficiary of the compost Will be the local farmers mainly who were engaged on avocado farms and creates a job for more than 200 directly which 125 permanents and 75 casual workers.

The SIPDC provided 2Ha/20000 square metres of the land for the company through lease agreement and is committed to arrange the fast and flexible services within the YIAIP.
